It’s dark, dangerous, and uncomfortable… as good art should be.

Indianapolis dark pop duo, LITTRELL, have unveiled the latest music video in their Public Love visual album. As with previous singles, Shark Week, Dirty, and Streams, Cycle brings with it cinematic storytelling and sonic accompaniment that would be equally at home on a silver-screen soundtrack.

Together, Lindsay Littrell and Garrett Langebartels lead the listener into the deep waters of romantic turmoil, juxtaposing claustrophobic feelings with spacious, ethereal instrumentation.

As the finale to a whopping 18 tracks, Cycle feels very much like the climax of a movie — one where the protagonist is on the precipice of a decision that may be both an end and a beginning.

Symbolism defined.

It's a fitting conclusion to the emotional expedition that is Public Love, and deserving of a deep, cathartic exhale.

You did remember to exhale, right?

Although not initially presented as a single, Cycle, stood out as a personal favorite of mine — so much so that I was determined to include it on the Effort Selections | Indiana | Vapor Trails playlist earlier this year.
